The Washington Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) and Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce are having a free class on developing capability statements from 9 to 10 a.m. Sept. 27 in the Bechtel Board Room at the Tri-Cities Business & Visitor Center, 7130 W. Grandridge Blvd., Kennewick.

The speaker will be Ashley Bennington-Coronado, a PTAC business counselor.

A capability statement is similar to a resume and is used as a marketing piece for government contracting. An effective capability statement can help a company make the most of networking opportunities. If your company has an existing capability statement and is looking to improve it, bring a copy to receive constructive feedback.

Registerations are due by Monday. To register go to bit.ly/omUWAq and click Sept. 27 on the calendar.

For more information, call Bennington-Coronado at 736-0510 or send an email to ashley.coronado@tricityregionalchamber.com.
