YAKIMA -- Colton Monti, a former Central Washington University standout, has been named the Eisenhower head boys coach.

The move came a month after Branden Johnson was hired to be the new girls coach.

Monti, a teacher at Eisenhower, was most recently the junior varsity boys coach at Ellensburg under former Ike coach Pat Fitterer. A year before that, Monti was the junior varsity girls coach at Eisenhower.

Monti replaces Brad Schultz, who left after one season.
