YAKIMA -- Jordan Downing rushed for 194 yards and scored three touchdowns to lead Chiawana over host Eisenhower 42-13 in a CBBN 4A football game Friday night at Zaepfel Stadium in Yakima.
The Riverhawks jumped out two a 21-0 first-half lead (and 28-0 in the third quarter) and never looked back.
Downing opened the scoring in the first quarter on an 11-yard TD run.
Quarterback Joey Zamora connected with C.J. Edrington for a 31-yard scoring strike in the second quarter, and Zach Flieger completed the first-half scoring with a 94-yard interception return.
Downing added TD runs of 7 and 3 yards in the second half, while Joey Zamora hit cousin Miquiyah Zamora on an 8-yard scoring strike to complete the scoring.
Joey Zamora passed for 117 yards, while Edrington had four catches for 67 yards. Miquiyah Zamora added three receptions for 50 yards.
Ike quarterback Kolney Cassel paced the Cadets with 257 yards passing and two TD passes.
