The Tri-City Regional SWAT team responds to the Courtyard Marriott at Columbia Point in Richland after a man with a gun, threatening to kill himself, barricaded himself in a third-floor room. There were reports of two shots being fired inside the room. The Richland Bomb Squad later sent in its remote-controlled robot to check the room and the man in his 30s was found dead inside said police officials. TRI-CITY HERALD/BOB BRAWDY
