Constitutional freedoms

Our administration says we are no longer just a Christian nation and appears to think that the Constitution is passé. But the United States has become the greatest and most powerful nation on Earth, the greatest economy, the greatest giver of charity and the world's greatest peacekeeper because of the wisdom of our Founding Fathers in establishing protections for our God-given freedoms in the Constitution.

The Constitution, based on the Judeo-Christian ethic, has brought us prosperity and made us a great nation. The Christian philosophy is love and forgiveness, and in the matter of self-control, it surpasses any neo-Freudian psychology. Jesus said, "If anyone comes after me, let them deny themselves." This idea of self-denial is counter-cultural, and the growing ideological divide in our country today is the result the abandonment by many of our Judeo-Christian roots.

Some say we are on the verge of social and economic collapse. We are seeing the erosion of our basic freedoms of religion and conscience. If the Judeo-Christian foundation of our Constitution is denied, our liberty will fall. To preserve our country's heritage, the people of our nation must turn back to God, following the path of self-denial and sacrifice, and restore and protect our constitutional freedoms.
