YMCA hires new Pasco, youth and family programs directors

The YMCA of the Greater Tri-Cities has announced a new director for the Pasco YMCA and a new youth and family program director.

Gary Stalder, the new Pasco YMCA director, has 29 years of YMCA experience ranging from aquatics and sports director to executive director. He most recently worked at the Family YMCA of Baker County as the executive director.

Stalder grew up in Omak and received a bachelor's in recreation management from Northwest Nazarene University.

He lives in Richland with his wife and son.

As the director of the youth and family program, Leah Jensen will oversee the school-age child care programs, camps and family activities.

She has more than 16 years of YMCA experience, most recently at the YMCA of Greater Seattle. Jensen was born and raised in Kennewick.

The YMCA has locations in Richland, 1234 Columbia Park Trail; Kennewick, 741 S. Dayton St.; and Pasco, at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center, 205 South Wehe Ave. For more information go to www.ymca tricities.org.
