A Pasco man whose car was struck from behind on Interstate 182 by a hit-and-run driver is recovering at a Richland hospital.

Yaroslav P. Sereda, 20, was in satisfactory condition at Kadlec Regional Medical Center, a hospital supervisor said Wednesday night.

Sereda was hit by Dina K. Aguilar, 30, of Pasco, which caused his Mitsubishi Montero to roll through the median and ended up in the eastbound lanes of I-182, the Washington State Patrol said.

Aguilar drove away from the scene, but was stopped a short time later and arrested. She was booked into the Franklin County jail on suspicion of driving under the influence and hit-and-run.
