* 2008 -- Kennewick High graduate Kevin Tucker finished fifth overall and helped the WSU men's team place third in the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational in Colorado Springs. Tucker posted a three-round total of 5-under-par 211.
* 1994 -- Kamiakin placed third overall at the Eastern Washington swimming jamboree, led by 3x50 breast stroke team of Betsy Mishko, April Baker and Kirsten Baker.
* 1973 -- Bob Cheek's interception and Dan Westermeyer's fumble recovery led Kennewick to a 14-6 victory over University of Spokane at the Lion's Den.
