Motorcyclist suffers leg injuries in Pasco collision

A motorcyclist in Pasco suffered critical injuries Friday night when a pickup truck turned in front of the rider, police said.

The motorcycle was going north on Road 68, and the truck was traveling south on Road 68. The truck then attempted to turn left onto Burden Boulevard and failed to yield to the motorcycle, Pasco police said.

The motorcyclist suffered significant injuries to his legs and was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The names of the motorcycle rider and truck driver were not immediately available Saturday. The crash occurred around 10 p.m. Friday.
