Fire crews work to contain a brush fire that jumped the Yakima River and is burned on a hill below the Hills Mobile Home Park on Skyline Drive. An irrigation canal running along the river helped keep the flames from getting close to homes above the fire. About 60 firefighters from multiple agencies worked for about 4 1/2 hours to extinguish the blaze that burned about 10 acres on both sides of the river.
