Steve Henderson of Dayton will exhibit one of his oceanscape paintings, Opalescent Sea, through Sept. 21 at the Allied Arts Gallery, 89 Lee Blvd., Richland.

The painting was chosen by the American Society of Marine Artists to be part of a two-year national traveling exhibit that will focus on Maritime art. The exhibit begins later this year.

Henderson is an award-winning artist whose work has gained national interest and his paintings stand in public and private collections.
