President Barack Obama will visit the Seattle area on Sept. 25, a White House official said this afternoon.

The official would not say what the president will do during his visit. But it’s likely to include some fundraising.

The president’s visit to Washington state will be part of a three-day swing that will also include stops in California and Colorado, the official said. The president will be in the Seattle area and the Bay Area on Sept. 25, in the San Diego and Los Angeles areas on Sept. 26 and in the Denver area on Sept. 27.

The official said more details regarding the president’s travels would be announced later.
