HERMISTON -- The Hermiston Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for the Leadership Hermiston program through Thursday.

The 10-month program includes a full-day session the second Tuesday of each month designed to expose participants to issues facing the community. Topics will include agriculture, technology, economic development and education.

Nonrefundable tuition cost is $600 for chamber members and $850 for nonmembers.

Participants will be expected to attend all classes to be eligible for graduation. Tuition is due upon notification of selection, or no later than the first week of September.
