Parents and potential recruits interested in learning more about the Tri-City Young Marines in advance of the group's annual boot camp can attend an information session tonight or Sept. 8 in Kennewick.

The Tri-City Young Marines is a nonprofit youth education program for boys and girls starting at age 8 through high school.

The program focuses on building character through a combination of self-discipline, teamwork and leadership, and promotes a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

Information sessions will be in the Kiwanis building in the west end of Columbia Park. For more information, call Jeff Carlyle at 582-6622.
