Three Kennewick men were jailed during the weekend for allegedly stealing items from vehicles. The men have been linked to six car prowls.

Officers responded to a car prowl in progress in the 6200 block of West First Avenue early Sunday. The victim reported to a 911 dispatcher that he could see someone in his vehicle with a flashlight.

Officers contacted three suspects in a silver Toyota Corolla near the Pub Tavern in Kennewick who matched the description given by the victim. Police said the apparent stolen property clearly could be seen inside.

David Delgado, 35, Jimmy T. Cuellar, 23, and Jeffrey P. Maddux, 23, were arrested and taken to the Benton County jail on suspicion of vehicle prowling. The Toyota Corolla also was seized.

A search warrant was issued and about $3,500 worth of stolen property from the car, police said.
