What kind of representation is Kennewick City Council candidate Loren Nichols trying to set here? Killing people? Calling hard-working individuals and families "rapists"? Does he not know the true definition of being an American? Judging by his stated positions, he obviously has no idea of what being an American is. I suggest he go learn the true history of America and who set foot here first -- immigrants.

I would like to see him live in an immigrant's shoes for one week, and I'm sure he wouldn't go through with it. He obviously does not get that all of these "immigrants" are people just like himself; people wanting to succeed. The beauty of being in America is its diversity. The beauty of being an American is the freedom we all are called to have. The negative aspect of being an American is coming across as a close-minded individual like Nichols.

Fortunately, I am not here to threaten him like he has done to others. Rather, I am here to educate and open his uneducated and sheltered mind. Although I'm a Pasco resident I am here to tell the community of Kennewick to not vote for Loren Nichols. If you truly value America, then you know what he has said and what he's representing is not American.
