Steve David and the U-1 Oh Boy! Oberto was moved from second place to fifth after race officials determined he moved into Brian Perkins' U-21 Albert Lee Appliance's path.

"My spotter said we had at least seven boat lengths ahead of Brian," David said. "It's supposed to be seven. But they say I only gave him five. It allegedly put his fire out."

That moves Oberto from second to fifth and gives the team just 127 points for the race, and just 296 points for the day.

While David doesn't agree with the call, he has no recourse.

"It's a subjective call," he said. "There is no way we can make the finals."
