* 1984 -- David Murray came home on a bases-loaded walk to Ron Hansen in the 12th inning, and the Tri-Cities Triplets picked up a 4-3 Northwest League road victory over the Spokane Indians. The Triplets had loaded the bases on walks to Murray and Bob O'Hearn, and a single by Neil Reilly. Hansen walked on a 3-1 pitch, bringing in Murray. A few days later, the teams were to meet again, but this time, the San Diego Chicken was scheduled to perform.

* 1976 -- The Richland-Benton City Knights defeated visiting Lower Valley 4-3 and 9-2 in an American Legion doubleheader. Cameron Mitchell went 5-for-7 on the day, including three hits in the opener, and scored four runs for the Knights.
