* 1968 -- The Benton County Mounted posse has purchased the bleachers used at the Boy Scout jamboree at Camp Farragut in near Coeur d'Alene, Idaho for the Benton Franklin Rodeo. Posse captain Ed Wilkerson said the bleachers, which cost about $8,000, will seat 1,416 persons.
