Joyce and Robert Rust, of West Richland, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary July 16 with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church, 4555 Arena Road in Richland.

They met at a roller skating rink in Hastings, Minn., in 1950, and were married July 14, 1951, at the First Baptist Church in Hudson, Wis. They moved to the Mid-Columbia in 1975.

Joyce worked at Hanford doing clerical work until she retired from Westinghouse in 1991.

Robert worked for Washington Public Power Supply System retiring in 1993.

They are charter members of Temple Baptist Church.

They have four children, Glenna and Larry Grames, Hermiston, Ore.; Robert Jr. and Traci Rust, Eugene, Ore.; Dayna and Craig Lanphear of Bloomington, Ill., and Jana and Tim Phillips of Richland.

They have nine grandchildren.
