Pasco artist Liliya Savchuk will debut her unique selection of paintings July 7 at downtown Kennewick's monthly ArtWalk.
Born in the Ukraine but raised in the United States, Savchuk describes her artistic style as a blend of cultures as she puts her passion for color to canvas.
"A lot of times I have dreams of paintings and I paint what I see in my dream," Savchuk says in her artist statement. "I have the biggest desire to known God's heart and paint his heart for others to see. The most important thing in my life is my relationship with God."
Savchuk's work will be on display at Zinful Panini Grill and Wine Bar, 114 W. Kennewick Ave.
About 20 businesses will stay open late July 7, and there will be music on the street performed by Brian Sweringen in front of Tri-City Music on Kennewick Avenue.
There is no admission to any of the venues featured during ArtWalk. Look for the colorful balloons in front the participating establishments. Most are located in a four-block area in downtown Kennewick.
