PASCO -- Mid-Columbia residents now can listen to local radio stations anywhere they go without relying on the radio or a computer.

Townsquare Media of Connecticut has launched a free mobile app called radioPup for iPhone, iTouch and Android smartphones.

The app features more than 150 local radio stations streaming music and news. It allows users to share using Facebook, Twitter, SMS or email.

Townsquare Media in Pasco owns and operates five media stations in the Columbia Basin -- 97 Rock, 102.7 KORD, Newstalk 870 KFLD-AM, 98.3 The Key and 97.5 Cool FM.
