CLE ELUM -- The Washington State Patrol is looking for witnesses to the Saturday bus crash on Interstate 90 near Cle Elum that killed two Pasco residents.

The patrol asks witnesses to call Detective Sgt. Jerry Cooper at 360-805-1192 or Detective Curt Ladines at 360 805-1160.

Elmer V. Schuman, 67, of Pasco, was driving a 1992 MCI Motorcoach from A&A Motorcoach eastbound on Interstate 90 about 6:25 p.m. Saturday when he made a lane change that forced a car driven by Dominik O. Kunigk, 30, of Renton, off the left side of the road.

The motorcoach swerved right, and then hit a 2008 GMC pickup driven by Jeffrey R. Irmer, 24, of Spokane. The truck came to rest on the right shoulder.

The motorcoach rolled after it hit Irmer's truck, and came to rest on its right side on I-90.

Two of the passengers in the motorcoach, Ciro R. Astudillo, 51, and Virginia Ocamposoriano, 45, both of Pasco, were killed in the crash. The driver, Schuman, was not injured.

The cause remains under investigation.
