Jeannie and Jim Grimes of Grandview will celebrate 50 years of marriage on June 11 with an open house hosted by their children from 1 to 4 p.m. at their home at 179501 W. Robertson Road in Grandview.

They were married June 11, 1961, at the Central Christian Church in Prosser. They lived briefly in Prosser before moving to their home in Grandview where they have lived for 48 years.

Jeannie was a registered nurse for 41 years. She retired in 2001 from Sunnyside Community Hospital.

Jim was an ironworker for 41 years. He retired in 2002 from Neil F. Lampson in Kennewick.

They attend Sunnyside Grace Brethren Church.

They have three children, Jeff (Rebecca) Grimes of Benton City; Janae (Fred) Lamb of Prosser; and Julie (Bill) Michener of Grandview.

They have 14 grandchildren.
