Sea. Lutheran beats Warden 7-1 in state final

YAKIMA -- Evan Clements struck out 12 Warden batters in a 7-1 victory over the Cougars, lifting Seattle Lutheran to its second consecutive 2B state championship at Parker Field in Yakima.

The Saints jumped on Warden for two first-inning runs and never trailed, as Clements tossed a three-hitter.

In the third-place game, DeSales fell to La Conner 5-4.
