RICHLAND -- The trio of 3A Tri-City teams still alive for a state baseball title won't have to travel too far for their regional rounds of state games.

The WIAA announced it will move Saturday's games, originally slated to be played in Spokane, to Richland's Bomber Field.

No. 3 seed Kamiakin will open with No. 2 Southridge at 10 a.m., while No. 1 Hanford has a 1 p.m. game with the winner to Tuesday's Lake Washington-Bishop Blanchet contest.

The winners of those morning games will play at 4 p.m., with the winner of that moving on to the state semifinals at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma the following weekend.

With no Spokane teams left in the field, the three Tri-City clubs were hoping to avoid the road trip to play at Avista Stadium.
