Yvonne and James Bloom will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary May 16.

They were married on May 16, 1951, at the Winchester Community Church in Winchester, Idaho. They have lived in Kennewick for 34 years.

Yvonne worked as a hairdresser and in recent years as a food demonstrator at Costco.

James retired from the Union Pacific Railroad in 1988. He enjoys playing golf.

They have two children: James Bloom of Lacey and Kenneth Bloom of Lake Tapps. They have four grandchildren.
