Pat and Roger Tucker of Pasco celebrated 50 years of marriage April 7 with a family dinner in Richland.

They were married April 7, 1961, in Saratoga Springs, N. Y.

They have lived in the Tri-Cities for 32 years.

Pat was a registered nurse at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, N.Y.

Roger was a commissioned officer in the Navy. He is a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars and retired after 26 years. He was also a quality engineer at Bechtel Hanford retiring in 1996.

Roger is a member of the Masons, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, Association of Military Officers, Holland Club, Scottish Rite and a master gardener.

They have two children, the late Jeffrey Tucker and Jennifer (Bill) Thompson of Richland. They have six grandchildren.
