KENNEWICK -- Sun Downs race track resumes its six-day race card with eight races today -- the third day of the meet.
First post is set for 1:30 p.m.
Featured will be the opening race of the day, the 4-furlong Dorothy Adams Buttons and Bows special with a $1,500 purse.
Miss Slewledo, ridden by Connie Doll and trained by Lynn Homer, is the oddsmaker's favorite at 2-to-1.
Racing will also continue on Sunday with a nine-race card, including the $3,900 Giltner's Sundowns Derby at 350 yards.
Trey Fecta
Trey had a rough first weekend, dropping $93.80 from the original $300 imaginary bankroll.
It's time to bounce back.
In the first, pick Sultana's Secret for the first half of the Daily Double, and box a trifecta of Sultana's Secret, Skimmed and Miss Slewledo.
In the second, we're going with Silky Chumaree for the second half of the Daily Double; and we'll try a $5 quinella with Silky Chumaree and Fifty Carats.
We're going to try $5 across the board on A Magic Cash Machine in the third; and we're boxing a trifecta of Via Zavata, Trieste'd N True, and Seymour White Curt in the fourth.
For the fifth, we'll put $5 across the board on Only Top Money.
In the sixth, let's box an exacta with Runnin for the Boys and Shazoomin for Honor.
In the seventh we're boxing a quinella on On the Hill, Saratoga's Magic and Tom West. Finally, in the eighth, we'll box a trifecta of Tiff Tivy Tiff, You Can Win, and Welfare Cadillac.
