Judy and Lanny Spriggle of Pasco celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with a family gathering at their Pasco home.

They were married April 22, 1961, in Pendleton, Ore.

They moved from Pendleton to the Tri-Cities in February 2003.

Judy worked for Pioneer Title Co. and retired from Amerititle in Pendleton in 2002.

Lanny owned and operated Simpsons Auto Electric from 1972-87. After selling the shop, he went to work for the Umatilla County Road Department Shop until retiring in 2002.

They are members of the United Methodist Church in Pasco.

They have two children, Marty Spriggle of Elkhart, Ind., and Chris Spriggle of Mill Valley, Calif.

They have one grandchild.
