* 1975 -- Dave Pierce and Kurt Komstadius teamed to pitch a one-hit shutout, and Kiona-Benton exploded for eight runs in the second inning to down nonleague White Swan 12-0 in prep baseball action.
* 1959 -- Sophomore outfielder Roy Mohondro drove in two runs with a bases-loaded single in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead Columbia Basin College over defending state champion Yakima Valley 6-5 in a nonconference game. The victory raised CBC's record to 3-1.
