* 1989 -- Lenny Ayres threw five innings of three-hit baseball and second baseman Adam Rodriguez recorded nine assists to lift Kennewick to a 6-5 nonleague win over visiting Beaverton.

* 1984 -- Lana Miller tossed both ends of Kamiakin's softball doubleheader sweep of Wenatchee, getting a lot of help from a seven-run second inning rally in Game 2. Miller fell behind early in both games but settled down in the late innings.

* 1966 -- Phil Kisro earned 13 points for the Pasco Bulldogs during a dual track meet against Walla Walla, winning the high jump (6-0), long jump (19-8 1/2) and finishing second in the high hurdles.
