* 1994 -- Richland High grad Greg Olson was hired by the University of Idaho to be the football team's quarterbacks coach for next season. Olson was the offensive coordinator at Central Washington University the past four seasons.
* 1959 -- Stockholders of the Richland Golf & Country Club will hold their first meeting at Edgewater Golf Course Clubhouse today at 9 a.m. to discuss future plans of the course, Bill Walton, pro at the West Richland club, announced. In addition to a report on the current sale of stock, a committee report will be heard on a proposed swimming pool in conjunction with the pending clubhouse addition.
