* 1995 -- Despite Tri-City coach Bob Loucks calling it their "worst game of the year" the Americans improved to 30-24-4 with a 4-3 win over Prince George at Tri-Cities Coliseum. Brent Ascroft and Terry Ryan scored goals within a 51-second span of the second period to give Tri-City a 4-1 lead.

* 1982 -- Ernest Sanders and Brad Denslow combined for 28 points to give Pasco a 61-52 Big Nine boys basketball victory over Kamiakin in the final regular-season game of the year. Pat Walker led the Braves with 20 points. The Bulldogs' win forced them into a three-way tie for second place in the Big Nine standings with Richland and Wenatchee that would be decided with two tiebreaker games later that week.
