* 1983 -- Ronnie Walker had 19 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to help the visiting Columbia-Burbank boys basketball team beat Connell 61-60 in overtime. Robert Wirtzberger hit the game-winning shot, off an assist from Eric Lloyd.

* 1977 -- The Richland boys basketball team defeated Wenatchee 108-72 at Art Dawald Gymnasium for its highest-scoring game since 1973. Six Bombers scored in double figures, including Kelly Euteneier and Cameron Mitchell with 20 apiece. Mac Gebbers scored a game-high 33 points for Wenatchee.

* 1969 -- Steve Wilson (106 pounds), Gary Keller (115), Roy Delgatte (141) and Ray Ord (heavyweight) recorded pins as the Kennewick wrestling team routed Prosser 40-0.
