Pasco luminaria lights up Dec. 18

By the Herald staff December 16, 2010

The annual Desert Plateau Luminaria starts at 6 p.m. Dec. 18 in the west Pasco neighborhood. About 900 homes, already lit up with thousands of Christmas lights, will add white bags with a burning candle to their driveways and walkways during the luminaria.

There will be caroling and a visit from Santa throughout the neighborhoods. Viewing is best done by walking. Parking is close by at McGee Elementary School, 4601 Horizon Drive, which is in the heart of the Desert Plateau area.
