An Art & Culture Showcase is Sept. 11 at Pioneer Park in Toppenish. Festivities include car shows, jalapeño eating contest and a dance contest with a DJ providing the music.
Live music also is planned throughout the day.
Hours are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free, but there are registration fees for those entering their cars in the show. Car/truck fee is $20, $15 for motorcycles and $10 for lowride bikes. Registration starts at 9 a.m.
