PASCO -- Evan Whitsett connected on 14 of 18 passes for 280 yards and four touchdowns as Tri-Cities shook off a 6-0 first quarter deficit and romped to a nonleague victory over visiting Colton.
"Once we got our rhythm and our veterans started stepping up and getting into it we started being a lot more productive," said Jaguars coach Dan Whitsett.
"It's always good to get the first one out of the way and see what you've got to work on."
