OTHELLO -- Matt Hadley rushed for 181 yards and scored three touchdowns as Connell rolled past rival Othello 31-14 in a nonleague game Friday.
Hadley scored on runs of 5 and 3 yards in the first half, then from 29 yards out in the third quarter.
Chandler Salisbury connected with Bryant Andersen on a 65-yard TD pass for the Eagles' other touchdown.
David Garza paced Othello with 176 yards passing and TD passes to Sam Para and DJ Cantu.
Para had six catches for 117 yards.

CONNELL -- The Connell football team has been in a lot of close football games, but maybe none as crazy as Friday's.
The Eagles escaped with a 20-15 season-opening victory over arch-rival Othello when the Huskies' final pass bounced harmlessly to the turf in the end zone with no time left.
