COLVILLE -- In a wild, snow-filled game, the Knights' offense had the final say as Alex Myrick scored on a 1-yard run with 2 1/2 minutes remaining to win the Class 1A state playoff first round matchup, 38-35, at Colville.
Colville led 28-26 after three quarters, before Royal went mainly to the run game and rallied for the victory.
"It was a back and forth game," Royal coach Wiley Allred said. "The O-line for us kind of got rolling in the second half. We were driving the ball the whole second half."

ROYAL CITY -- The Warriors made a surprisingly good game of it in Royal City, scoring right before halftime to trail just 21-12.
The Knights, though, blew it open after the break. Quarterback Alex Myrick was 17-of-26 for 261 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed 13 times for 59 yards and two touchdowns.
"(Wahluke) has been getting better," Royal coach Wiley Allred said. "We just adjusted the defense after the first drive. It was fun. We got to play a meaningful game. They played hard and it was hard-hitting on both sides of the ball."
