I thought the Benton Franklin County Fair was a family-oriented event. It clearly outlines this in the entertainment guide on page 2 in the mission statement. I think maybe the board of directors should try again or spend a little more money on entertainment.
What rock did they find Ted Nugent under? I am very angry at the choice of words used during his concert. I understand that Ted Nugent is like this -- but at a fair with children? Were they so desperate to have Ted that they couldn't put a few rules in place and remember their own mission statement. Maybe this is how they talk to children. I guess it's ok with them, because no one stopped him from screaming (expletive deleted) not once but numerous times. So I tell you this if the nasty word in the last sentence bothers you, it bothered me to have my children hear it at a family event that's suppose to provide a quality community event.
