KENNEWICK -- The Tri-City Americans' main camp will feature 16 returning players from last season's WHL Western Conference championship team, along with four prospects that appeared in at least one game for Tri-City last season.
There will also be one local prospect at this year's camp, forward Shawn McElroy.
McElroy, along with Cody Castro, both played for the Tri-City Titans last season.
There will also be three sets of brothers at this year's camp, featuring Adam and Matt Hughesman, Jordan and Marcus Messier along with Drew and Mitch Owsley.
Arriving late to this year's camp will be goaltender Alexander Pechurskiy and defenseman Nikita Kardashev.
Pechurskiy and Kardashev, one of two of the Americans' first round CHL Import draft picks this year, are tentatively scheduled to arrive on Sept. 5.
The team's main camp begins Monday.
Following the conclusion of main camp, the Americans will depart for Everett and participate in the Silvertips' pre-season tournament, set for Sept. 3-5 at Comcast Arena.
