YAKIMA -- DeVauna Green, Lexi McCracken, Lindsey Walchli and Maddie Chambers had two RBIs apiece in Game 1, and Paige Goulet gave up one hit over six innings in the nightcap as Richland secured the CBBN Cascade's No. 2 district seed with a sweep at West Valley by scores of 9-2 and 8-6.
The Bombers open district play next Thursday at Columbia Playfield against Moses Lake.

Suns pitcher Caitlin Klepper threw both games, striking out 12 batters and allowing a run on 11 hits in 14 innings.
Southridge plays host to Eastmont in next week's first round.
