Oregon bluegrass band in Pasco for March 20 show
The Blue Pass, from Eastern Oregon, perform a concert of bluegrass music starting at 6:30 p.m. March 20 at First Christian Church, 1524 W. Marie St., Pasco.
Admission is $10 and kids 15 and younger are free.

Richland Players plan auditions March 14-15
Auditions for Blithe Spirit, a Richland Players production, are at 7 p.m. March 14-15 at The Players Theatre in The Parkway in Richland.
Scripts are available at the Richland library. Two men and five women will be cast. The play runs for three weekends starting May 7.
Seattle songwriter to play in Richland
Jill Cohn plans a concert at 7:30 p.m. March 12 at All Saints' Episcopal Church, 1322 Kimball Ave., Richland.
Cohn is a singer, songwriter, piano player and guitarist who lives in Seattle. Admission is $8 adults, $6 students and seniors. Tickets at the door.
Guild plans 14th annual quilt auction at TRAC
The Southeastern Washington Quilters Guild will hold its 14th annual quilt auction March 13 at TRAC in Pasco.
Preview is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The auction is from 2 to 4 p.m. Admission is $6 at the door. About 50 quilts will be up for auction. Part of the proceeds will go to the Tri-City area Hospice services.
Eleanor Roosevelt lecture planned at CBC
Joan Wolfberg will speak on "Eleanor Roosevelt: No Ordinary Woman," starting at 7 p.m. March 18 at Columbia Basin College's HUB Main Stage. The free lecture is part of the CBC Community Lecture Series.

Tickets on sale for male revue show at TRAC
Tickets are on sale for the Thunder From Down Under All-Male Revue show April 2 at TRAC.
The all-male revue has been one of the hottest shows on the Las Vegas strip for the past few years. They were voted best male revue in 2006 and 2007 by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and America Online's City Guide.

Violinist Kim Angelis to play at Pasco church
Violinist Kim Angelis will perform a folk concert March 20 at the Community Unitarian Universalist Church, 2819 W. Sylvester St., Pasco.

Southridge High seniors organizing skating event
Three Southridge High seniors, Tyler Sprague, Skylar Klinginsmith and Bo Bettinson, are organizing a skating event for kids with challenged abilities as part of a senior project.
The event starts at 10 a.m. March 14 at the Toyota Arena in Kennewick. The Tri-City Americans mascot Winger will be on hand to hang out with the kids.
Kennewick choral fest set March 15-16
The Kennewick School District's citywide fifth-grade choral fest is March 15-16 in the gym at Kennewick High School. About 1,000 fifth-graders will sing and dance at the two-night festival called, "The Power of Music." Showtime is 7:30 p.m. each night. Admission is free. The gym is at 500 S. Dayton St.
Oregon East Symphony to perform March 14
The Oregon East Symphony will perform a classical music concert featuring the works of Beethoven at 3:15 p.m. March 14 in the Vert Auditorium, at Fourth Avenue and Dorian Street in Pendleton. Admission is $16-$20 for adults, $13-$17 for seniors, $2-$8 students. Tickets at the door.
Out & About plans drag show March 17
The Drag Show starts at 9 p.m. March 17 at the Out & About nightclub on Lewis Street in Pasco. Cover charge is $3 and the event is open to ages 18 and older. A dance party will follow the show.
Comedians to perform at Wildhorse Casino
BJ Johnson and Nathan Brannon comedy shows are at 8 p.m. March 18 in the Wildfire Sports Bar at Wildhorse Casino in Pendleton. There is no cover charge, but must be 21 or older to get in.
Skating, dance festival planned March 14
The Kaleidoscope festival is March 14 and features an afternoon of youthful talent displayed at the Toyota Center in Kennewick.
The Mid-Coumbia Ballet, AuDaire Irish Dancers and the Tri-Cities Figure Skating club will perform various works. Showtime is 4 p.m. Admission is $8 and kids 3 and younger are free.
Yakima college jazz concert set March 18
The Winter 2010 Jazz Concert, featuring the Yakima Valley Community College Guitar Ensemble starts at 7 p.m. March 18 in Kendall Hall auditorium on the YVCC campus in Yakima. Admission is free.
Whitworth symphony to play in Richland
The Whitworth University Wind Symphony performs a concert at 7 p.m. March 20 at the Richland Lutheran Church, 901 Van Giesen St.
Admission is free but donations are welcome.
