Kennewick A small corner of New York City is opening Friday in Kennewick.
Jesus Escamilla is opening his third New York Richies, a restaurant featuring New York-style sandwiches and pizza, at 5011 W. Clearwater Ave.
The decor is very big city cafe with an Italian flare, all black and white with a checked floor, cafe tables and chairs, bold red accents and of course a tribute to the Statue of Liberty.
The menu features a variety of New York style pizzas wide, thin and foldable 20-inch pies and by the slice.
Theres cold sub sandwiches and hot sandwiches, including Philly cheese steaks, hot meatball wedges and eggplant parmesans. Two pasta dishes steak and pasta and rigatoni round out the entrees. Still hungry? Theres cheesecake for dessert.
And fountain drinks, beer and wine are available.
Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Phone is 783-9400.
