Happy Colon Cancer Awareness Month

March 5, 2010

Well, that's a bright and cheery headline, eh?

Yes, March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Colorectal cancer, also known as colon cancer, is one of the leading causes of death via cancer in the world. It's also one of the most curable forms of cancer.

That means it's time for you to think about getting checked out. In particular, if you've reached the age of 50, please go see your doctor. If you think an exam is uncomfortable, try chemotherapy, radiation therapy or surgery.

Or better yet, don't. Please just go get checked out. You really do not want cancer.

Trust me on this one.
