Students from Denise Ruane's 7th grade science class at Carmichael Middle School in Richland installed four new wood duck nesting boxes at Barker Ranch in West Richland. The project is part of the Richland Rod & Gun Club's Youth Education and Wood Duck Enhancement project, which has placed more than 300 youth-built nesting boxes around the Tri-Cities.
