Purse theft suspect

Kennewick police and Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers are trying to identify a woman who stolen a purse that was left behind in a shopping cart.

A shopper at the Kennewick Walmart store, 2720 S. Quillian St., accidentally forgot her purse in the cart when she finished shopping.

An unknown woman then picked up the cart in the parking lot and was seen taking the purse.

She is wanted for theft.

Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity or whereabouts can call Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers at 586-8477 or visit www.tricitiescrimestoppers.org. Tips can also be sent by text message by writing “Text TIP 411” plus the message to CRIMES (274637).

All calls to Crime Stoppers are confidential.

Crime Stoppers pays a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that results in a felony arrest.
