WALLA WALLA -- Burglars kicked in the front doors of three homes in Walla Walla early Monday.
The reports started coming in at 12:22 a.m. when a resident in the 800 block of Wellington reported being awoken by the sound of his front door being forced open.
Then at 1:54 a.m. police received another call about a door kicked in on the 1200 block of Studebaker.
Within a few minutes, sheriff's deputies were sent to Dresden Court where someone was trying to break into a third house.
All three homes had substantial damage to the doors and door frames, but nothing is believed to have been stolen.
Walla Walla police and sheriff's deputies say there are no suspects or vehicle descriptions at this time.
Anyone in those neighborhoods who saw anything suspicion late Sunday night or early Monday is asked to call the sheriff's office at 524-5400, the police department at 527-4434 or 527-1960 after hours.

Cecil "Rob" Carter was shot Friday about 8:30 a.m. at his home.
He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

A Kennewick man was killed early Thursday after he apparently lost control of his truck on slick roads caused by freezing fog.
Sidney Roach, 60, was driving east on Interstate 82 south of Kennewick, when he attempted to change lanes and lost control of his 2003 Ford pickup truck, said the Washington State Patrol.
Roach's truck went into the median, rolled over and ended up stopping in the westbound lanes of the highway near Locust Grove Road, troopers said.

Officers from three agencies rounded up the suspects Friday night in Milton-Freewater. The first arrest was made at 10:45 p.m. with the last suspect in custody about three hours later, said Walla Walla Officer Bennett.
The shooting occurred at 5:40 p.m. July 28 at Howard and Tietan streets. Police report that gang members were chasing members of a rival gang when gunfire broke out.
