Doors of 3 Walla Walla homes kicked in

By the Herald staff

WALLA WALLA -- Burglars kicked in the front doors of three homes in Walla Walla early Monday.

The reports started coming in at 12:22 a.m. when a resident in the 800 block of Wellington reported being awoken by the sound of his front door being forced open.

Then at 1:54 a.m. police received another call about a door kicked in on the 1200 block of Studebaker.

Within a few minutes, sheriff's deputies were sent to Dresden Court where someone was trying to break into a third house.

All three homes had substantial damage to the doors and door frames, but nothing is believed to have been stolen.

Walla Walla police and sheriff's deputies say there are no suspects or vehicle descriptions at this time.

Anyone in those neighborhoods who saw anything suspicion late Sunday night or early Monday is asked to call the sheriff's office at 524-5400, the police department at 527-4434 or 527-1960 after hours.
