Moses Lake woman injured in Othello crash

By the Herald staff

OTHELLO -- A 49-year-old woman suffered injuries in a car accident two miles south of Othello on Monday evening.

Teresa Lynn La Mere of Moses Lake was taken to Othello Community Hospital with neck and back pain after another vehicle collided with hers about 6 p.m.

Javier F. Delaogomez, 23, of Othello, ran a stop sign at Highway 17 and Bench Road, the Washington State Patrol said. Delaogomez, who was driving a 1990 Honda Accord, ran into La Mere's 2004 Hyundai Elantra.

He was cited for failure to stop and lacking car insurance.

Delaogomez was not injured, but both cars were totaled.

Officers reported neither drugs nor alcohol was involved.
